On the 2nd October from 4pm (until well past bedtime) HHH are taking over London Fields Brewery to host probably the BEST beer and tech festival the world has ever seen.

With a multitude of cutting edge demos from some of the hottest startups, a plethora of craft beers, traditional Oktoberfest cuisine and live entertainment all night, this is the party to warm your cockles for the coming colder winter months!

Whether you’re a craft beer aficionado, a tech savvy investor, or the next big start up, TechtoberFest is the one for you.

Why?

Well, because we thought it was about time someone did. Pretty simple really. But the more we got to thinking about doing it, the more it made sense.

You guys clearly love your beer and your tech so why not combine the two and give you the best of BOTH worlds all wrapped up in the most BEERtastic Oompah party EVER!

What? and When?

TECHtoberfest combines the best in traditional German Oktoberfest roots with the next generation of startups and the future of tech.

What more could you ask for?
Scintillating speakers and fascinating presentations? Sure, we’ve got those too. Read on below for all the info…

Performers

The Bavarian Strollers

The Bavarian Oompah Boys

The Bavarian Strollers have travelled the world bringing their unique take on Oompah music to anybody that will listen. They will be getting the entire audience singing, clapping and dancing, leading you in a series of Bavarian table dances (they’re VERY different from English table dances) and perform lots of German toasts or ‘Prosits’. It’s all fantastic fun and you’ll soon be dancing your little German socks off!

Peter and the London Kids

Prepare to be transported to the depths of the Earth into the world of Peter and the London kids. Directed by Emmanuel Exbrayat, who together with the artists, musicians and dancers, Maeve McPhillips, and Ben Jack, will carry you away into a new fantasy world. A multi-disciplinary performance, an innovative and unseen experience, mixing visual arts, live electronic music and dance.

Julie Stark

Julie Stark

Julie has performed on the West End stage, and in many touring musicals. She has fronted many bands, rocked huge crowds whilst performing with ‘The Music Of Queen’, and has appeared as a solo artist at functions, casinos, clubs, restaurants, the occasional ship and the 02 Arena in London. She has sung all over the UK, and has also made appearances in America, the Middle East, Mexico, and many European countries.

Sonic Journey

Sonic Journey

Yaiza Varona‘s Sonic Journey describes mainly through sound the concept of travel and how it universally affects the man; how it impacts its identity, its story, the new thoughts it triggers inside. This is a proposal for walking not a mile but 60,000 years in the shoes of the Bushmen to recreate not their journey but to re-live our own. To switch ears with what we were, maybe what we will be.

Swag / Freebies

Not only will this event be supremely fun, it will be insanely good value as we will be giving you all a ton of freebies** (like those listed below) by the bucket-load since we know how much you love your SWAG!

✦ Beers, beers and more beers
     ✦ Pretzels & Bratwursts
     ✦ T-shirts
     ✦ Souvenir Steins
     ✦ Tyrollean Hats
     ✦ Glass Beer Boots
     ✦ and plenty more…

Dress Code

We’d really love you to get in the spirit of things and get dressed up for the occasion donning your finest traditional Bavarian Lederhosen or Dirndl regalia, so we’re incentivising you to do so by giving all you fancy dress lovers a super cheap ticket* which will also give you fast track entry (i.e. you go straight to the front of the queue!) – NO waiting in line for you fine folk!

To the right is an example of typical outfits (but feel free to adapt it and make the look your own!) or you can check out this useful guide for more help.

But if you’re not really feeling the fancy dress route, then we recommend coming in comfortable clothing as you’ll be dancing and partying a lot. We also recommend elasticated waist bands to allow for super stomach expansion due to all the beer you’ll be guzzling.
